Optim Insulation

  • Innovative Optim® insulation material is the first silicone-polyurethane copolymer insulation designed for cardiac lead use. It blends the best features of polyurethane and silicone for improved handling and increased durability.

Greater Ease at Implant

  • One of the thinnest defibrillation leads available: Can be inserted using a 7 F introducer.
  • Active mapping collar: Facilitates quick confirmation of suitable lead placement.
  • Enhanced fluoroscopic visibility: Eases confirmation of tip placement and verification of helix extension/retraction.
  • Fast-Pass® coating: Enables smooth placement through the introducer and veins.

Reliability

  • Flat outer wire and silicone back-filled coils: Flat outer wire provides a low profile for defibrillation coils, and silicone back-filled coils are designed for the reduction of tissue in-growth.
  • Redundant conductor cables: Provide added safety margin.
  • TiN (titanium nitride) fractal coating: Designed to provide precise sensing and improved contact with the myocardium.
  • Steroid elution: Designed to reduce inflammation at the lead/tissue interface, resulting in lower acute and chronic stimulation thresholds.
