Abstract
Permanent pacing and atrioventricular junction (AVJ) ablation is an effective and established therapy for atrial fibrillation with medically refractory rapid ventricular rates.1, 2 The rate control achieved by AVJ ablation and right ventricular (RV) pacing comes at a price: an iatrogenic left bundle branch block with ventricular dyssynchrony.
