In cooperation with St. Jude Medical, the European Valve Repair Group (EVRG) offers several educational workshops to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of the cardiovascular surgeon. The courses deliver high-level interactive learning programs focusing on the dos and don’ts of valve repair in all its aspects. All courses are conducted by members of the EVRG, international experts on valve repair.

Who Should Attend?
Cardiac surgeons interested in expanding their knowledge of valve repair

Module I: Fundamental Mitral Valve Repair

Objectives: 

• Understand the fundamental concepts of mitral valve repair techniques. 
  
• Learn and discuss advanced techniques in mitral valve repair. 
  
• Approach complex cases.
  

Module II: Advanced Valve Repair

Objectives: 

•  Increase the knowledge of advanced valve repair techniques through moderated live cases, treating different pathologies of aortic and mitral valve repair.
  

Module III: Minimally Invasive Approach to Mitral Valve Repair

Objectives: 

•  Introduce cardiac surgeons to innovative video assisted mitral valve repair procedures and set up.
