Speaker: Ms. Garris is a Principal with The Korris Group, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in providing expert government relations and reimbursement strategy services to professional medical associations, physician practices, health technology companies and others seeking assistance with strategic health policy initiatives and advocacy at the federal and state levels. In a prior role as Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs with the American College of Cardiology (ACC), she served as the primary liaison between the cardiology community and the American Medical Association. As a CPC certified coder and recognized cardiovascular coding expert, Ms. Garris is well versed in the development of AMA CPT codes and RUC applications, and possesses coding and reimbursement expertise in medical imaging, drug, device and radiopharmaceutical reimbursement.
