The CPS Duo System is a unique system for LV lead delivery comprised of a hollow stylet and a guidewire that can be advanced through the stylet's lumen. This unique design allows implanters to simultaneously use the guidewire and the stylet for LV lead placement.
The CPS Duo System was designed to provide users with the advantages of both stylet-driven and over-the-wire lead delivery techniques by combining the support of a stylet with the trackability of a guidewire. The CPS Duo guidewire provides flexibility and distal support with tracking performance for control and precision. The CPS Duo stylet provides pushability similar to other St. Jude Medical™ stylets. Together, they provide greater maneuverability and control of the LV lead than either could supply alone.
