The CPS Luminary bideflectable catheter1 with lumen is an all-in-one device for cannulation and subselection. Specifically, the CPS Luminary catheter with lumen features two deflectable curves: a large deflection to facilitate coronary sinus cannulation and a small deflection for target vein subselection. It is compatible with other products in the St. Jude Medical™ Cardiac Positioning System (CPS™) family, an inter-compatible system of tools designed to deliver the left-heart lead to your first-choice destination.
Provides Reliable Coronary Sinus Cannulation
- Ergonomic, self-locking handle provides excellent and intuitive deflection control
- Soft, atraumatic tip features bipolar mapping electrodes to confirm CS entry (requires Bipolar Extension Cable, sold separately)
- Available in large curl and extra large curl models to cover a wide range of HF patient anatomies
- 7 F outer diameter provides compatibility with St. Jude Medical outer guide catheters, including CPS Direct™ SL and Apeel™ CS Plus outer guide catheters
Enables Navigation & Subselection within Coronary Venous System
- Central lumen allows for contrast injection plus delivery of guidewire up to 0.035-inch in diameter
- Small deflection facilitates subselection of target branch veins of a variety of angulations, including acutely angled take-offs
- CPS Direct SL outer guide catheters can be tracked over CPS Luminary catheter into the target vein. Upon removal of the CPS
- Luminary catheter, the left-heart lead can be delivered directly through the CPS Direct SL catheter into the target vein
- Integrated hemostasis valve provides excellent bleedback control
