Current Accel DR ICD

The Current Accel ICD is designed to reduce life-threatening risks and simplify the implant, monitoring and follow-up processes for enhanced safety and efficiency. Featuring capture confirmation, extended VIP™ programming and AT/AF alerts, the Current Accel ICD allows physicians to tailor therapy to changing patient needs. It also ensures delivery of the right therapy at the right time and enables timely, remote follow-up for safer, more efficient patient care.

The Current Accel ICD is designed to offer faster, more efficient therapy delivery and management by providing ongoing patient monitoring and automatic adjustments of threshold data. Both the Current Accel DR and Current Accel VR devices feature:

DF4 Connector

The DF4 Connector with a single terminal pin connection that can decrease chances of lead-to-port mismatch. Fewer connections and setscrews lessen complexity, and the improved terminal pin visibility is designed to encourage proper lead connection.  

Ventricular AutoCapture™ Pacing System

Automatic adjustments are designed to efficiently deliver optimal pacing therapy and help ensure better patient outcomes.

  • Leverages the time-proven AutoCapture technology first introduced by St. Jude Medical as part of its commitment to leadership in pacemaker reliability
  • Provides automatic Beat-by-Beat™ capture and threshold trend data to streamline follow-up
  • Automatically adjusts output to meet changing patient needs

Ventricular Intrinsic Preference (VIP™) Programming-to-450 ms

Unnecessary right ventricular pacing is reduced for improved patient outcomes.

  • Allows intrinsic conduction when possible and provides optimal ventricular support when needed
  • Extends AV delay to 450 ms
  • Builds on years of clinical experience and success with VIP technology

ACap™ Confirm

Automatic output adjustments deliver optimal therapy and help ensure improved patient results.

  • Utilizes an enhanced algorithm that increases the algorithm usage recommendation rate and does not require separate set-up tests
  • Captures threshold trend data to streamline follow-up
  • Provides reliable automatic pacing output adjustment

AT/AF Alerts

Alerts provide valuable insight into patient status.

  • Provide an AT/AF burden alert when program threshold is exceeded
