OptiSense™ Optim™ Pacing Lead

This device is commercially available for use in the United States and select international markets.

Optimal Electrode Spacing For More Accurate Atrial Sensing and Less Far-Field R-Wave Interference

OptiSense Optim Pacing Lead

With a standard lead, a patient in atrial fibrillation (AF) for 24 hours is at risk for atrial undersensing, resulting in inaccurate diagnostics that show numerous short-duration AF episodes. The OptiSense Optim lead in the same patient can offer more accurate diagnostics, resulting in more accurate medical decision-making.

The OptiSense Optim Pacing Lead can offer more accurate diagnostics with the following features:

  • Optimal 1,1 mm tip-to-ring spacing
  • More accurate atrial sensing
  • Less far-field interference
  • Optim™ lead insulation
  • Thin lead body diameter
  • Lower thresholds with steroid elution
  • Reduced polarization with titanium nitride fractal coating

Comparison of Tip-to-Ring Spacing

The unique 1,1 mm tip-to-ring spacing of the OptiSense Optim lead offers a more precise measurement of atrial signals when compared with other atrial leads, which have a spacing of 10 mm or more.
